ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME
You can go to one of the 26 member states of the European Union (excluding Poland) as well as to Liechtenstein, Island, Norway, the Republic of North Macedonia, Turkey, and Great Britain. You can check the list of the University of Lodz's partner universities in the USOSWeb system.
Both Polish and international students as well as PhD candidates can apply to go on the Erasmus+ Programme. There is full gender equity as well as levelled chances for differenyl abled students.
The recrutiment takes place once a year (usually in winter) and concerns studies in the subsequent year/semester. It consists of several stages: first, you have to submit an application for being accepted into the Programme through the USOSWeb system. Next, you will take part in an interview in front of the Faculty Recruitment Committee. How does the Committee make the decision? For sure, persons who will show they are motivated students will have greater chances for studies within the Erasmus+ Programme. The condition that you must necesserily meet includes the ability to speak the foreign language (not necessarily that of the country where you want to go), the mean of minimum 3,5 from the whole period of studies, and the lack of courses to still be passed. It is possible that your faculty will set additional criteria – e.g. due to the specificity of the studied programme/field. Then, your application is presented to the receiving university. Remember that you cannot apply for the studies within the Erasmus+ Programme if you do not intend to continue education at the University of Lodz (e.g. after the completion of a B.A. programme).
