World University Rankings 2023
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR) publishes rankings of global universities based on objective data (without relying on surveys and university data submissions), taking into account the analysis of seven criteria grouped into four basic categories:
- Education – takes into account the successes of university graduates, measured by the number of those who received the highest scientific honours in relation to the size of the university (25 percent of the rating).
- Employability – professional successes of graduates, measured by the number of those who take the highest positions in companies in relation to the size of the university (25 percent of the rating).
- Faculty – achievements of individual faculties measured by the number of the highest scientific awards for their employees (10 percent of the rating).
- Research – the authors of the ranking include the following data in this area:
- total number of scientific articles (10 percent of the rating)
- high-quality publications: number of articles appearing in top-tier scientific journals (10 percent of the rating)
- influence: number of articles in highly influential scientific journals (10 percent)
- citations measured by the number of valuable citations of scientific articles (10 percent).
