Ubezpieczenie NNW i OC dla studiujących i doktoryzujących się

We would like to present a proposal for Personal Accident Insurance (NNW) for students and those pursuing their PhD degrees and studying at the Doctoral Schools of the University of Lodz in the academic year 2024/2025. Depending on the selected variant, the annual insurance premium is PLN 68 and PLN 80 PLN. Persons studying at the University of Lodz Doctoral Schools have the option to purchase also a civil liability insurance (OC) in connection with their lecturer/teacher profession.

We encourage students and doctoral students to consider taking out a personal accident insurance policy. This is optional. However, it can be useful in the event of an injury, hospital stay or other consequences of accidents – also during holidays and outside the university building.

One-time fee

The annual insurance premium in this regard for the academic year 2024/2025 is PLN 68 or PLN 80 – depending on the selected option. The premium must be paid by 15 December 2024 – the date of receipt of the payment is decisive. Compliance with this condition results in the insurance being concluded for the entire academic year, i.e. for the period from 1 October 2024 to 30 September 2025. Payment of the premium after 15 December 2024 results in the conclusion of an insurance contract from the day after the premium is credited to the account.

The insurance can only be purchased via the website.

Civil liability insurance (OC)

Persons pursuing a doctorate and studying at doctoral schools of the University of Lodz have the opportunity to purchase civil liability insurance (OC) in connection with their lecturer/teacher profession:

  • sum guaranteed: PLN 100,000 for one and all events during the insurance period
  • territorial scope: European Union countries, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland
  • single premium per person: PLN 5
