Do you want to know more about UNIC?

UNIC is one of 44 alliances of European Universities. Currently, thanks to the membership of the University of Lodz in UNIC, every representative of our academic community (a student, a doctoral student, an academic teacher or an administration employee) can learn one of the 10 UNIC languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Turkish, Dutch, Croatian, Irish, Finnish or Basque, free of charge, on their own and in a way that suits them. The UNIC language modules contain information about 10 UNIC languages as well as universities, cities and culture of the partner universities. Soon, Polish will also appear on the platform.

As part of virtual mobility ensured by our membership in the UNIC alliance, the University of Lodz students can now participate in courses offered by other universities associated with the UNIC alliance in the winter semester 2023/24. Registration for the courses is now open.

European Universities are transnational alliances that will become the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity, and revolutionising the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. They will do so by joint implementation of innovative solutions in the field of education and science and deep institutional integration.

The alliance focuses on the challenges faced by post-industrial cities, the role of universities in their transformation and building the potential of cities in key areas such as: inclusion, superdiversity, sustainability.
