Mother and Child Startup Challenge

(KOPIUJ 1)

The call for the 3rd edition of the Mother and Child Startup Challenge competition will run until 23 June of the current year. This is an initiative addressed to startups that create innovative solutions in the area of healthcare for women and children. Through the competition, cooperation between startups and medical facilities is promoted, opening the door to modern technologies in the field of diagnosis, prevention and treatment in the area of paediatrics and women's health. The competition is open to students, doctoral candidates, researchers and academic lecturers.

The Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw is the main organiser of the competition. As part of the Mother and Child Startup Challenge, innovators have a chance to win a pilot of an innovative product at the Institute of Mother and Child and in hospitals co-organising the competition. Additionally, the winning startup receives support from mentors and experts who help improve the project. The participation in the competition is a great chance to develop your startup.

This year's edition seeks projects at an early stage of development (TRL <= 7) that propose innovative solutions in the field of:

  • pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics,
  • prevention and screening,
  • patient education and support in specialist training,
  • process and documentation management,
  • laboratory technologies and biotechnology,
  • solutions supporting hospital work organisation

The planned end date of the call for the 3rd edition of the competition is 23 June of the current year.
